Jackie Martin

Encourager. Problem Solver. Training Department Manager.

Jackie is a sixth-generation Texan with a heart for helping others succeed. Her ideal job is working with BIS to expand and create training tools for appraisal districts.  She will be another valued member of our team in your corner.

After her husband’s Army tour of duty in Germany, Jackie moved back to Texas and invested her time in the housing market as a Realtor and property manager for four years. She has worked a collective 26 years in three west Texas area appraisal districts with 18 years as Chief Appraiser. Jackie established two of the CAD offices to work independently from their previously-combined structure with County or School Tax offices. Her experience is extensive in all aspects of CAD appraisal and administrative responsibilities. She also served as a consolidated tax assessor/collector for 8 years.

Jackie is working with the BIS team to take the frustration out of common problems for Texas appraisal districts. She believes there is not enough time to control each project without a solid foundation of technology tools, training, and experience. This is her niche and the BIS mission: Simplify our clients’ IT needs through old school customer service with the ambition of improving technology in every area of government.

Keep an eye out for more information about our upcoming resources and training opportunities with Jackie.
