As ARB season approaches when taxpayers protest their taxes, the team knows it will be a busy season for CAD offices. In order to prepare, the BIS IT team is ramping up for 100% uptime. The IT team recently purchased a new server that will allow for expansion of their virtual environment. In the unlikely case of a crash, there would be no loss of data and clients could be consistently up with this new hardware. Having a new server also allows for the team to scale up to accommodate new clients. This server project will be complete by the end of March.
The IT team is also expanding! There will be one new Level 1 Technician joining the group in April. The team plans to add another Level 1 Technician by the end of the year. Both roles will be client-facing, to handle inbound customer calls and support the existing team.
Way to grow, IT! We applaud your efforts with the new server to make backups even safer, and are excited to meet new team members.
